Master the art of eight limbs. Our striking sessions combine boxing, kickboxing, and Muay Thai to build speed, power, and genuine fighting reflexes.
Every strike tells a story of your progress. Here, we are drilling combinations, focusing on how to flow from one punch to the next in a kickboxing sparring session.
Strength is a mindset. This is what it looks like to channel focus into power, delivering decisive kicks during a kickboxing drill.
Timing beats power, and precision beats rage. This kickboxing drill focuses on reading your opponent and reacting faster, making every move count.
In every charge, there’s an opening. This foot sweep drill teaches you how to exploit an opponent's forward momentum during a striking exchange.
The art of eight limbs speaks louder than words. My Muay Thai classes will teach you the devastating power of kicks, knees, and elbows.
Friendly sparring is where you test your skills and build camaraderie. We keep it light, respectful, and focused on mutual improvement.
This is a high-energy kickboxing class in session. We combine fitness drills with striking techniques to build both your skill and your stamina.
The only way to improve is to consistently push yourself. Here, students are working on pad drills, perfecting their form and power in our martial arts class.
"Jo lad saka hai, wahi toh mahaan hai." (He who can fight is the one who is great). This kickboxing counter-attack drill teaches you to turn defense into offense instantly.
Boxing starts with the feet. A solid foundation and proper footwork are crucial for both power and defense, as demonstrated here by coach Pardeep.
About Striking: Boxing, Kickboxing & Muay Thai
We teach you to move your body as a single unit. You will quickly learn that power in boxing or Muay Thai does not come from your arms, but from your hip rotation and footwork. We dedicate significant time to heavy bag work and technical drilling so you learn to strike with intention, not just brute muscle.
Beyond the Cardio
Many gyms treat striking like a fitness class. At Bodhi Ran, we treat it like a martial art. Whether you are throwing a jab in boxing or a roundhouse in Muay Thai, your technique must be precise. We focus on the 'art of eight limbs,' using hands, feet, elbows, and knees as tools for self-defense and athletic conditioning.
Our Approach to Striking
- Boxing Fundamentals: We start with the feet. Without a solid stance and proper weight distribution, your punches lose their impact. We drill footwork until it becomes instinct.
- Muay Thai & Kickboxing: We teach you how to generate force from the ground up. You will learn to control distance, manage your guard, and execute clean, powerful combinations.
- Technical Sparring: We use light-contact sparring to test your timing and reflexes. It is not about winning; it is about learning how to react under pressure.
