About Real-World Self-Defense for Women
Forget fancy movie kicks that take years to master. In these sessions, we drill the stuff that actually works under stress: breaking wrist grabs, escaping chokeholds, and using your surroundings. You learn to stay calm when it matters, not just how to throw a punch.
I built this program on a simple rule: if it works in the ring, it works on the street. We do not practice choreographed routines. You will train on 40mm MMA puzzle mats, focusing on the ugly, necessary reality of physical confrontation. We start with situational awareness because the best way to handle a threat is to spot it before it escalates. From there, we move to specific release drills for wrist grabs, hair pulls, and chokes. I incorporate Judo and BJJ fundamentals into the curriculum, which are perfect for smaller individuals because they rely on leverage and weight distribution rather than raw muscle power. Whether you join my weekend workshop in Sector 38 or sign up for ongoing monthly classes, you will sweat, you will learn to fail, and you will get back up. My goal is for you to walk out of the dojo knowing you can handle yourself. We keep class sizes small so you get corrections on your form and feedback on your reflexes. If you are looking for a gentle workout, this is not it. If you are looking to become capable, you are in the right place.
Bodhi Ran
I am Bodhi Ran. I started this because I believe self-defense is a survival skill, not a sport. I have spent years training in Judo and MMA, and I bring that hard-won experience to every woman I train in Gurugram.
