About this collection
The silk hammock is an incredible tool for shoulder stability. Many students come to me saying they lack the upper body strength to hold themselves in standard asanas. Using the aerial hammock, I teach a simple drill where you use the fabric's support to safely build grip and shoulder power. It is an effective, low-impact way to condition your body for both advanced yoga flows and everyday physical tasks.
Why Aerial Yoga?
Aerial yoga, or anti-gravity yoga, changes how you relate to your mat. By suspending yourself in a silk hammock, you relieve pressure on your joints, particularly your spine. For those who spend hours sitting at a desk in Bangalore, this practice offers a necessary release. It forces you to engage your core constantly to maintain balance, building a level of functional strength that ground-based yoga sometimes takes much longer to achieve.
Safety and Expertise
Safety is non-negotiable. Our aerial workshops and regular classes operate with a low student-to-teacher ratio, usually around 1:8. This ensures that every time you invert or experiment with a new pose, a trained instructor is right there to guide you. We focus on technique first, whether you are a complete beginner or looking to advance your practice.
Join Our Community
We host classes across our Bangalore locations, including Indiranagar, HSR Layout, AECS Layout, and Austin Town. Our studios are not just gyms. We are a family of people working to find their 24-hour smile. When you join an aerial class, you are not just getting a workout, you are becoming part of a tribe that celebrates progress and supports each other. Whether you want to try an introductory drop-in session or commit to a monthly unlimited pass, we have a space for you. Om Namah Shivaya.
Bodhi School of Yoga
I walked away from a high-paying corporate life because I realized that true success is about being a useful instrument for others. At Bodhi, I do not just teach you how to hang in a hammock. I help you find that 24-hour smile, whether you are dangling upside down or sitting in meditation.
