About Karate Camps & Seminars
What Makes My Karate Camps Special
Karate is more than kicks and punches for me - it’s a way you live and grow. My camps and seminars are where you really test yourself and learn, way beyond regular classes. I run these with a family vibe, so don’t be surprised if I ask, “Elli mane nimdu?” (Where’s your house?) at the start. I like knowing my students.
Kids Martial Arts Summer Camp
School’s out? That’s when I get the youngest ones moving. I make sure it’s fun and structured - kids learn fundamentals, self-defence, and get a taste of martial arts. Most camps end with a karate belt grading event, so there’s something real to aim for, not just games.
Seminars for Serious Karateka
If you’re not a beginner, my sessions get intense. Think advanced karate sparring seminar, focused kata drills, and even workshops on how to referee fights. These are for seniors and black belts who want to go deep and perfect their skills.
Grading: The Big Day
Belt exams aren’t just about passing. I push everyone - fitness, kata, kumite, even your spirit. Moving up, whether it’s your first color belt or stepping into the ‘Sempai’ or ‘Sensei’ role, takes real effort. I always say, the only difference between a black belt and a white belt is that the black belt just never gave up.
The BBK Championships
Our biggest event is where it all comes together. Students, families, instructors - everyone shows up to compete and cheer. It’s not just about winning, it’s about showing what you’ve built day after day.

My Story
We are Bangalore Budokan, but honestly, we feel more like a big karate family than an academy. Karate for us? Not just kicks, not just belts. It’s a mindset. We started with a dream to build a tribe, and now, seeing students like Nikhil go to Nationals or Sensei Sharan bring home trophies, that's what keeps us going. Our dojo’s everywhere in Bangalore - always with our students, through thick and thin. Oss.
My Work
What we offer - Traditional karate classes, martial arts, practical self-defence training, women’s self-defence workshops, corporate sessions, summer camps, and advanced referee seminars.
Who can join? - Anyone. Kids, adults, seniors – age is just a number. Our dojos are all across Bangalore. Elli mane nimdu? (Where’s your house?) We’re probably close by.
How we train - We focus on discipline, hard work, and real-world preparation. Not just for belts, but for life. You get tougher, but you also get better.
Our BBK community - We train together, win together. Our students compete and succeed in state and national championships. Come, be part of the BBK family.
