Yoga belongs to everyone. Whether it is park sessions with senior citizens or mindfulness workshops for NGO children, I bring the healing power of yoga to our local community spaces in North Delhi.

A beautiful moment of shared joy with children from the Gyan Adhar NGO during an International Yoga Day celebration. Their smiles and energy are the biggest reward for my work.

Guiding a peaceful outdoor yoga session in a park. I am explaining the importance of pranayama and mindful movement for both our 'sharik' and 'mansik swasthya' (physical and mental health).

A Hasyayog session I conducted for the Senior Citizens Recreation Center. Laughter is truly the best medicine, and it was wonderful to share these moments of happiness with them.

Leading a guided meditation session for a community group in Shalimar Bagh. I teach participants to focus on their Ajna Chakra (Third Eye) and connect with their inner self to find peace and clarity.

Spreading happiness through dance and movement at the 'Empowering the Golden Years' conference at Gargi College. Celebrating the International Day of Happiness with senior citizens was a truly special experience.

A weekly yoga session I conduct every Sunday morning for senior citizens at BC Block Park, Shalimar Bagh. These sessions are open to all and are a great way to start the day with positive energy.

Teaching a group of children from the Gyan Adhar NGO in a park. It is so important to create a supportive and encouraging environment for them to learn and practice yoga.

Guiding the children through Ardha Chakrasana (Half Wheel Pose). These simple backbends are excellent for improving flexibility of the spine and opening up the chest.

Children practicing Shashankasana (Child's Pose) during our outdoor NGO session. This is a wonderful resting pose that helps to calm the mind and relieve stress.

Presenting a certificate to a young participant for her beautiful drawing depicting the benefits of yoga. Encouraging creativity is also a part of holistic wellness.

About Community & Social Wellness

When we hold community sessions in places like BC Block Park, we aren't just doing asanas; we are creating a shared energy. I always recommend that beginners focus on consistency over intensity, especially in our outdoor sessions where we incorporate pranayama to help manage breathing issues and stress. You don't need fancy gear—just yourself, a mat, and a willingness to breathe.
