During our summer camp, we encourage children to connect with their families in mindful ways. We asked them to help their parents at home, and they shared these wonderful moments of helping in the kitchen.

Our summer camp includes core practices like Asana and Pranayama, along with special bonus sessions. We offer workshops in Math, Music, and Science and Meditation to provide a truly holistic experience.

Overcoming fear is a journey we take together. In this playful exercise, children learn to trust themselves and each other, building confidence through consistent practice and a lot of joy.

About Holistic Summer Camp

Our summer camp moves beyond traditional asanas. We create a 40-hour immersion over four weeks where children explore Ashtanga yoga alongside Kalaripayattu, contemporary dance, and mindful art. It is a space designed for discovery, helping children find their own rhythm and calm without the pressure of competition or rigid performance standards.

We run our sessions from 10:30 AM to 1:00 PM, four days a week at our shala in JP Nagar. This is not a structured fitness drill; it is a blend of movement, academic concepts, and mindfulness. We use storytelling, games, and traditional chanting to make complex concepts simple for children aged 4 to 9.

Whether it is learning Ujjayi breathwork or practicing martial arts, the goal is always to plant seeds of self-regulation and gratitude. We cap our batches at 15 children to keep the environment intimate and safe. Parents often ask about the philosophy behind the camp. It is simply to help children 'Pause, Breathe, Act'. We believe this habit is more valuable than any perfect pose. By the end of the four weeks, the children have not just moved their bodies, they have learned how to interact with their environment and each other with greater awareness.

I started Ashtanga Yoga Sadhna in JP Nagar to create a home—a kula—not a gym. I believe yoga is a gift, and my approach with these children is to help them find their own breath and rhythm, whether they are five years old or starting their own journey.
