Yoga isn't about finding an hour of uninterrupted silence or studio perfection. It's about showing up on your mat, even if it's messy, even if the baby is nearby, even if you only have twenty minutes.

A glimpse into my short, sometimes messy, but always essential home practice. Life as a mom means I don't always have hours to spare, but consistency is what matters. This is the reality of fitting yoga into life, not the other way around.

Working on Karandavasana, an advanced arm balance that requires immense strength and focus. This pose has been a long journey for me, especially while rebuilding my practice postpartum. It is a reminder that yoga is a process of patient, dedicated effort, not a race to a destination.

My home practice surrounded by birthday balloons. I draw inspiration from my students, and on this day, I was just happy to get my practice done while my daughter slept a little longer.

Every success story starts with an imperfect you. You just begin where you are. This video shows different moments from my practice, reminding you not to wait for the "perfect" time to start.

My husband playfully joining the end of my practice. It is a good reminder not to take everything so seriously. Laughter is also part of the journey.

The first week of home practice in Bangkok. Juggling my daughter's routine with my own practice and exploring a new city was a challenge, but regular, focused movement gave me the energy to enjoy it all.

My old friends, the backbends, are returning. Six months after my C-section, my abdominal muscles finally feel strong enough to support deep backbends like Kapotasana again.

A short sequence from my home practice. Even a few minutes on the mat can help to center the mind and move the body, connecting breath with movement in a meditative flow.

My first Surya Namaskaras (Sun Salutations) six weeks after my C-section. My body felt completely new and weak, but the joy of moving again was immense. This was a moment of vulnerability and a reminder that it is okay to be a beginner again.

A Saturday Led Primary Series practice at home. This is a clip of Utthita Hasta Padangusthasana, a standing balance that challenges both flexibility and focus.

About My Home Practice

The reality of my home practice often involves diaper changes and short bursts of movement, not ninety-minute undisturbed sessions. I have learned that consistency beats perfection every single time. Whether I am in Delhi or teaching online, my focus is helping you build a sustainable routine that fits into your actual life, not some impossible ideal.
