Whether you are at home in Delhi or joining from across the globe, I provide undivided attention to help you build a safe, sustainable Ashtanga practice. Let's move beyond copying poses and truly understand the mechanics of your body.

A private session is about partnership. Here, I am providing a hands-on adjustment to help a student safely deepen their pose. This is where the real work happens, with undivided attention and guidance that helps you understand the mechanics of your own body and move past your perceived limits.

Working closely with a student to refine an advanced posture. With two teachers providing support, the student can explore the pose with an extra layer of safety and guidance. This is the benefit of personalized instruction.

Assisting a student with drop-backs in a studio in Pattaya, Thailand. My verbal cues guide her through the movement, helping her find the strength and confidence to come up on her own.

This is what my online Mysore-style classes look like. Through Zoom, I can offer personalized cues and support to students anywhere in the world. It is a powerful way to stay connected to a community and receive individual guidance, even from your own home.

My sister, an experienced yoga therapist, assisting me in Supta Vajrasana at 29 weeks pregnant. This shows the value of having a knowledgeable teacher to guide you, especially during times of physical change.

About 1-on-1 Coaching: In-Person & Online

Group classes are great for energy, but a 1-on-1 session is where we actually look at your specific sticky points. Whether it is finally nailing that jump-back, modifying poses for a C-section recovery, or just figuring out why your breath feels shallow in backbends, this is where we fix the technical leaks that stall your progress.

Why 1-on-1 Coaching?

Most people treat yoga like a workout video where they try to keep up with the instructor. That is not how we work. In a private setting, we strip away the performance aspect and focus entirely on your physiology.

How We Work Together

Whether we meet in person in Delhi NCR or over Zoom, the goal remains the same: I am not just a teacher; I am a partner in your practice.

  • For Beginners: If you have never stepped on a mat, I will help you build your foundation from scratch. We focus on breathing and basic alignment so you do not carry bad habits into your future practice.
  • For Stuck Practitioners: If you have hit a wall—whether it is arm balances or drop-backs—we break the pose down. We look at where you are holding tension and use props or specific drills to get you moving again.
  • For New Moms: I have been through C-section recovery and postpartum fatigue. I know exactly how to tailor a practice that respects your body’s current capacity while helping you heal.

Practical Logistics

Every session is 120 minutes. We start with the practice and finish with 10–15 minutes of Q&A. This is your time to ask about philosophy, pain, or whatever is blocking your progress. If you are in Delhi, I come to your home or studio space with hands-on adjustments. If you are online, we use high-definition video cues to ensure you are safe and aligned. This is not about perfect poses; it is about a practice that works for your life today.

I used to think yoga was about perfect poses and strict discipline. Then motherhood hit, and I realized it is actually about showing up for yourself, no matter how messy life gets. I am Tanya, and I am here to guide your practice—not as a guru, but as a partner helping you find your own rhythm.
