Strength & Functional Training on Hesaraghatta Road
Real strength isn't about lifting the heaviest weight you can find, but moving your body the way it is meant to move. Whether you are using modern gym gear or traditional Indian Gada, I focus on form first so you stay injury-free.
A montage of the different types of strength and functional training we offer. You can see members using the sledgehammer on a tire, performing bench presses, and doing dumbbell curls, showcasing the variety of our programs.
We are passionate about helping women build strength and confidence. Here, a member is performing battle rope exercises, a fantastic full-body workout for improving power and endurance.
Our members engaged in a functional training circuit. This includes agility ladder drills for speed and coordination, step-ups for lower body strength, and dumbbell exercises, all under the watchful eye of our trainers.
This video demonstrates a single-leg squat with a medicine ball, an advanced exercise for improving balance, stability, and leg strength. We guide our members through progressions to master movements like this.
A glimpse of the high-intensity interval training (HIIT) options at our gym. This clip shows members using battle ropes, the rowing machine, and doing ball slams as part of a challenging circuit.
Proper form is everything, and our trainers are here to ensure you get it right. A female trainer is assisting a member with his push-up form to maximize effectiveness and prevent injury.
About Strength & Functional Training
You won't see me letting anyone just swing weights for the sake of it. When you are here, I or my trainers are watching your posture like a hawk. If you are doing a deadlift, a kettlebell swing, or a battle rope circuit, we check your form first. It is the difference between building actual muscle and just hurting your back, especially when you are pushing for that last rep.
Why This Approach Works
Building real-world strength means moving your body the way it is meant to move. Many people walk into a gym and immediately reach for the heaviest plate they can find. That is where injuries happen. At our facility on Hesaraghatta Road, we do it differently. We believe that if you cannot control the weight, you are not training, you are just struggling.
Our Mix of Tools
We have the classic gym equipment, yes—bench presses, racks, and dumbbells—but we do not stop there. I have incorporated traditional Indian training tools like the Gada into our circuits. These are not just for show; they are incredible for shoulder mobility and core stability. You will find yourself working on:
- Agility Drills: Using ladders and hurdles to improve your footwork and coordination.
- Functional HIIT: Battle ropes, tire flips, and slams that spike your heart rate and burn fat.
- Controlled Strength: Focusing on the eccentric and concentric phases of every single lift.
Your Training Environment
We have 3,500 square feet of space, so you are not waiting for a machine or bumping into others during your set. The flooring is impact-absorbing, which is critical when you are dropping weights or landing after a plyometric jump. We rely on natural ventilation, keeping the air fresh even during the most intense batches.
If you are ready to learn how to train—really train—instead of just exercising, come try it out. We offer a 6-day free trial so you can see the difference that proper form makes before you commit to anything.
