Strength isn't about how much you can struggle; it’s about moving better, safely. Here is how we build raw power through proper technique, not ego lifting.

A heavy clean and jerk is a full body effort. This video shows the explosive power needed to move the barbell from the floor to overhead, a true test of strength and coordination.

This athlete is hitting a 330 lbs back squat followed by a 75 lbs dumbbell snatch. This showcases the combination of pure strength and explosive skill we develop through our varied programming.

A coach's eye is crucial during heavy lifts. Here I am watching an athlete's form during a heavy back squat, ensuring his depth is good and his movement is safe before he drives back up.

This athlete is in the middle of a heavy pull during a clean. Notice the focus and engagement required to lift a challenging weight from the floor. We ensure our athletes are prepared for these moments.

A perfect deadlift setup is key to a safe and powerful lift. This athlete demonstrates a flat back and proper starting position, ready to engage her hamstrings and glutes.

Failure is just a step towards success. This clip shows an athlete attempting a heavy clean, missing it, but then coming back to successfully complete the lift. This is what trusting the process looks like.

Here, a young athlete is working on her back squat form. We scale the weight to be appropriate for each person, focusing on building a strong foundation and confidence under the bar.

We work on all types of overhead movements. This montage shows athletes performing strict presses, push presses, and push jerks, each requiring a different level of strength, skill, and coordination.

This is a glimpse into a classic CrossFit workout combining strength and conditioning. The athlete moves from deadlifts to box jumps and air squats, before tackling a one rep max squat clean, all under fatigue.

From deadlifts to snatches, our athletes are constantly challenged. This video captures the intensity and variety of movements you'll experience in a single session at our box.

About Strength: Mastering the Lifts

Ever tried a 1 1/4 squat? It is one of my favorite ways to force stability at the bottom of the movement. Instead of just grinding through, we pause, drive up slightly, and hit the bottom again. It keeps your core engaged and your technique tight, which is exactly why you will not see us ego-lifting with heavy weights on day one. We care more about how you move than how much you lift.
