Building real power requires more than just heavy lifting; it demands precision, biomechanics, and consistency. I teach the science behind every compound movement to help you gain strength safely.

Mastering the front squat is essential for leg and core strength. This tutorial breaks down the setup and execution, from the rack position with the bar on your clavicle to maintaining an upright chest and parallel thighs for a powerful lift.

The sumo deadlift is a powerful full-body exercise. I guide you through the correct technique, focusing on a wide foot placement, keeping your spine neutral, and bracing your core to lift heavy weight safely and build serious strength.

Less talk, more lifting. This video shows a client executing a barbell snatch, a complex Olympic lift that develops full-body power, speed, and coordination. We work on mastering these technical movements for peak athletic performance.

Never skip leg day. Barbell lunges are a fantastic exercise for building unilateral leg strength, improving balance, and targeting the quads and glutes. Here, a client demonstrates controlled form in her home gym setup.

The single-arm dumbbell snatch is a dynamic exercise that builds explosive power, particularly in the shoulders and back. It also enhances coordination and core stability, serving as a great progression towards more complex Olympic lifts.

This workout combines heavy front squats for lower body power with hanging leg raises to build a strong, functional core. This is how we build a complete physique, focusing on both strength and aesthetics.

A clean pull is a fundamental part of Olympic weightlifting that increases muscle power and enhances metabolic function. This movement is key for burning calories efficiently while building explosive strength in the shoulders and legs.

Here I am guiding a client through a heavy deficit deadlift. By increasing the range of motion, this variation builds immense pulling strength from the floor, targeting the hamstrings and lower back for advanced leg development.

The landmine split jerk is an excellent exercise for improving balance, core stability, and unilateral power. I use this to train athletes for better sports performance, ensuring they can generate force from a stable base.

This is what pure determination looks like at a weightlifting competition. My client successfully completes a heavy clean and jerk, a testament to her hard work and the challenging training we do together.

About Strength & Weightlifting

I focus intensely on your 'bar path'—the most critical element in your lifting. If the barbell drifts even an inch away from your center of gravity during a snatch or heavy squat, you lose mechanical efficiency and increase your risk of injury. We start every session with a technical breakdown of your movement, ensuring your form is perfect before we ever load the bar for heavy reps.

Weightlifting and strength training are not just about lifting heavy objects; they are about teaching your nervous system to produce power efficiently. My approach is rooted in compound exercises—squats, deadlifts, and overhead presses—because these movements recruit multiple muscle groups, burning more calories and building functional, real-world strength better than any isolation exercise could.

Whether you are training with me at Fitness First in Dwarka or we are working in your own home gym, my priority is your biomechanics. I don't just count reps; I analyze your grip width, spinal alignment, and the 'stretch-shortening cycle' of your muscles.

For beginners, we spend the first few weeks building a solid base. We focus on mobility and learning the movement patterns before pushing intensity. If you are an athlete or a regular gym-goer, we move into more complex Olympic lifts like the clean and jerk or the snatch to build explosive power. My programs are designed to be sustainable. We aren't looking for a quick fix that leaves you injured; we are building a foundation that lasts.

If you find yourself stuck at a plateau, it is likely a technique issue, not a lack of effort. 'Kuch to kaam h mare pass' (I have some work to do) is my mantra—we identify exactly what is holding you back and fix it. We build the mind-body connection through yoga and meditation on recovery days so you can perform at your peak during the heavy sessions. Ready to get to work? Shabash man, let's start.
