Motherhood is beautiful, but the chaos is real. These simple breathwork, meditation, and yoga routines help you reclaim your calm, even on your most fragmented, sleep-deprived days.

As a new mom, your mental health is a priority. This video offers ten simple reminders and demonstrates calming breathwork (pranayama) to help manage stress, reduce anxiety, and lower the risk of postpartum depression.

Your mental and emotional well-being is just as important as your physical recovery. This 10-minute yoga sequence is specifically designed to help reduce the symptoms of postpartum anxiety and depression by calming the nervous system and boosting your mood.

A good stretch can release a surprising amount of stress from your body. This video guides you through a gentle yoga flow designed to calm your mind and relieve physical tension, perfect for the end of a long day.

This video demonstrates the Jnana Mudra, or mudra of knowledge. Practicing this simple hand gesture during meditation can help invoke wisdom, promote a sense of peace, and support clearer communication.

Vayu Mudra is a powerful hand gesture for calming an anxious or restless mind. This video demonstrates how to perform the mudra and explains how it works to balance the 'vayu' or air element in the body, promoting tranquility.

Jnana Mudra, or the gesture of wisdom, is a simple yet profound tool for meditation. This video explains how to form the mudra and how it helps you become more receptive to knowledge and inner peace.

Did you know that certain mudras can help with physical issues like snoring? This video introduces Adi Mudra, a primal hand gesture that can improve lung function, relax the nervous system, and reduce snoring.

Chanting mantras is a powerful practice for cultivating positive energy. In this video, I chant the Gayatri Mantra and explain how the sacred sounds can bring mental peace, develop intuition, and improve your overall well-being.

The Gayatri Mantra is one of the most powerful hymns in Hinduism. This video explains the science behind it, detailing how its vibrations can sharpen the intellect and transform your mental state from negative to positive.

Finding 'me-time' as a new mom can feel impossible. I practice yoga even while traveling, using simple techniques like the Humming Bee breath to stay mindful and centered. It's about finding those small moments of peace wherever you can.

About Mindfulness & Stress Relief for Moms

You don't need an hour or a quiet, perfect studio to practice. I focus on techniques you can do while the baby naps or even while you're holding them—like the Humming Bee breath or specific hand gestures (mudras) for anxiety—because your mental health shouldn't have to wait for a free slot that might never come.

I know that finding 'me-time' often feels impossible. That is why my approach to stress relief isn't about clearing your calendar for an hour, but about integrating small, restorative practices into the pockets of time you already have.

Why This Works When you are in the postpartum phase, your nervous system is often stuck in 'fight or flight' mode due to lack of sleep and constant vigilance. We address this directly through:

  • Pranayama & Breathwork: Simple techniques like the Humming Bee breath help calm an overactive mind instantly.
  • Mudras: I teach specific hand gestures, like the Vayu Mudra, which you can practice while sitting, walking, or even nursing to actively reduce restlessness and anxiety.
  • Gentle Movement: We skip the high-intensity exercise. Instead, we use slow, intentional flows that release stored tension in the shoulders and neck—areas where new moms carry the most stress.

Our Live Sessions For those who need a structured break, my small group sessions (held at 11 AM IST) provide a safe, private space. I use a 'Focus Mode' on Zoom so you can see me, but others cannot see you. This means you can show up in your pajamas, with your baby or mess in the background, without any judgment. We combine these physical release techniques with short, guided meditations to help you manage postpartum anxiety and reconnect with your own body. If you are looking for a space that prioritizes your peace as much as your recovery, I would love to guide you.
