About Prenatal Yoga & Wellness Program
My Journey and Why I Teach
I’m Hamsikha. Prenatal yoga got me through my own pregnancy - I started as soon as I found out I was expecting and kept teaching classes up to week 36. It wasn’t just exercise, it was my anchor. I’ve built this program from what actually helped me, not just textbook stuff. My aim is always to help you tune into your body’s wisdom and find your own balance.
What Happens in Our Sessions
We don’t do the typical fitness routine. I focus on Garbhasanskar techniques (connecting with your baby, nurturing from the womb) and mindful pregnancy practices:
- Gentle, trimester-friendly yoga poses for strength and comfort (especially pelvic floor, hips, and lower back)
- Breathing work (pranayama) to help you handle labor pain, relax, and fight anxiety
- Meditation, affirmations, and mindfulness to calm your mind, reduce fear, and help you bond with your baby
- Real talk about prepping for labor and what comes after - no sugar coating, just info and support
Who’s This For?
If you’re expecting and in your 2nd or 3rd trimester, this is designed for you. Total newbies, I’ll guide you step-by-step (just check with your doctor first). If you already do yoga regularly, you can start sooner.
What You and Your Baby Get
- Relief from common pregnancy aches like back pain, swelling, and indigestion
- Better flexibility and strength for labor and recovery
- Confidence and mental strength for motherhood
- Boosted blood flow and energy
- A loving, supportive space to find your own way
For your little one, we’re laying the foundation for health and happiness right from inside the womb.

My Story
Hi, I'm Hamsikha, but these days, mostly just 'mama' to my 6-month-old. Used to think yoga was all about perfect poses, but now? It’s finding a few minutes of peace in the baby chaos, sneaking in Vishnu Sahasranama chants (my anchor during pregnancy), and letting my kid crawl on my mat while I stretch. Postpartum isn’t a quick fix, it’s messy and slow and full of surprises. I show up as I am, and I hope you will too.
