My approach to yoga isn't about perfectly touching your toes; it’s about discovering what’s already inside you. Whether we are in a studio in RR Nagar or conducting a residential retreat, I prioritize 'effortlessness' over performance. My path has been long and varied—from traditional schooling at S-Vyasa to traveling to places like Morocco and Singapore to share what I know. People often ask me, 'Are you a yoga teacher or a sound healer?' The answer is simple: I am a student of life. I founded Ojas Yoga Academy to create a space where you don't just 'do' yoga, but you learn to become your own healer.
The Intersection of Ancient and Modern
My sessions are never cookie-cutter. When I work with a corporate team in Bengaluru, we use desk yoga and pranayama to manage real-world stress. When I lead a Sound Healing Teacher Training, we dive deep into the science of Marma therapy and the vibration of over 45 instruments. It is all connected. Whether you are coming for a weekend retreat to reset or a private Marma session to address physical pain, the goal is always the same: to help you connect with your inner artist and inner healer.
Why Sound Healing?
Sound is ancient medicine. In my workshops, I don't just play music; I use rhythmic entrainment to guide your body into deep stillness. If you've been feeling scattered or 'stuck', these vibrations help release blocked Prana. I’ve seen this work in TEDx talks, at global festivals like Vivaan, and in intimate living rooms in Namma Bengaluru. You don't need to be 'flexible' or 'fit' to start. You just need to show up as you are.
