Strength & Conditioning: The Fighter's Engine
A fighter is only as good as their engine. We build raw power, explosive stamina, and the grit you need to outlast any opponent on the mat or in the ring.
Building a powerful base for grappling. Our female athlete demonstrates perfect form during deadlifts, a key exercise for developing the posterior chain strength needed for throws and takedowns.
When you feel like quitting, remember why you started. Our conditioning drills are tough, but they build the mental and physical grit required to be a fighter.
A fundamental rule for every athlete. We teach the importance of a proper warm up to prepare the body for intense work and a cool down to aid recovery and prevent injury.
About Strength & Conditioning - The Fighter's Engine
Here, we don't care about gym-mirror muscles. We use functional tools like heavy tires, sledgehammers, and traditional mudgars to build an engine that actually lasts during sparring rounds. It is about being able to explode when you need to, not just lifting heavy for show.
Training with the X9 Squad
If you want to train like a fighter, you need to move like one. Our Strength and Conditioning (S&C) sessions are designed for athletes, not just gym-goers. We focus on the posterior chain, core stability, and explosive power using equipment that demands effort: tires, sledgehammers, and traditional mudgars.
We train in a warehouse setting, which means you leave the AC comfort zone at the door.
The Combat Approach
- Functional Stamina: Our warm-ups include animal movements like bear crawls and frog jumps, designed to prepare your joints and heart for the grind.
- Combat-Specific Conditioning: We focus on the endurance required for rounds of sparring. Whether you are prepping for a Judo throw or a Jiu-Jitsu scramble, our drills build the necessary muscular endurance.
- Real World Strength: We don't use isolation machines. Every movement involves compound engagement, meaning you get stronger in a way that transfers directly to your sport.
Whether you are based at our Mira Road location or train in Ghatkopar, the philosophy stays the same. We make sure you rise. If you are serious about transforming your performance, join our sessions and see why we call ourselves X9 ke Sher. No shortcuts, just hard work.
