BJJ & No-Gi Grappling - The Ground Battle
Zameen pe jung (battle on the ground). Master the art of control, takedowns, and submissions with our No-Gi BJJ and wrestling drills. No ego, just pure technique.
A complete grappling sequence from start to finish. Our fighter secures a takedown and immediately transitions to a submission on the ground. This is the core of our No-Gi BJJ and wrestling training.
This fast-paced ground escape drill builds the cardio and muscle memory needed to survive and thrive in BJJ. The goal is to keep moving and never stay flat on your back.
About BJJ & No-Gi Grappling - The Ground Battle
We don't focus on brute strength here. In our daily grappling sessions, we work specifically on 'Uchi-komi' repetitions and controlled rolling to help you understand leverage and timing. Whether you are a total beginner learning to fall safely or training for competition, our coaches break down every takedown so you actually understand the mechanics before you ever start live sparring.
Grappling isn't about being the biggest person in the room. It is about who has the better technique, better timing, and the mental grit to stay calm when things get tight. At Xtrem9, our No-Gi BJJ and wrestling classes are designed to build exactly that.
We start with animal movement warmups—bear crawls and frog jumps—to get your body ready for the mat. Then, we move to technique. You will learn wrestling takedowns, how to control an opponent from the top, and how to escape from the bottom using dimaag (mind) rather than just force.
Why No-Gi? Because it forces you to use technique over grip fighting. It is faster, slippery, and demands precise body movement. Every session ends with live rolling. This is where you test what you learned. You will be tired, you will be sweaty, but you will walk out knowing exactly where you need to improve. We have sessions in Ghatkopar and Mira Road, so you can find a spot that is close to you. Come ready to learn, and leave your ego at the door.
Find the right training for you.
