About Beyond the Punches: Strength & Conditioning
Here, conditioning is not about looking good in a mirror, it is about making your body a weapon. We train in a semi-outdoor, no-frills facility in Charkop. We skip the fancy machines for tire flips, medicine ball slams, and intense circuit drills that force your heart rate up. Whether you are prepping for a state-level bout or just want to strip away fat, the goal is functional power that transfers directly to your punch.
You can have the best technique in the world, but if you gas out in round two, you are done. That is why strength and conditioning at our Mumbai Boxing Academy is non-negotiable. I do not believe in isolation machines. In a real fight, your body works as one kinetic chain.
We focus on explosive, multi-joint movements. We drag you through circuit training—tire flips, battle ropes, and burpees—to build the kind of endurance that keeps you sharp when your opponent is fading. We use medicine balls for core rotation and box jumps to improve the snap in your footwork.
Our facility in Charkop Gaon is built for grit. We do not have AC. You need to learn how to perform when you are hot, tired, and uncomfortable, because that is the reality of a ring. When you step up to spar, the conditioning work you do here is what keeps your hands high and your guard tight.
