Yoga & Nature Retreats for Mindful Healing
Step out of the city and find your balance. Join me for an intentional escape into nature, where we slow down, detox, and deepen our practice together.
Finding complete serenity while meditating by a powerful waterfall. These are the moments of profound connection that my nature retreats are built around.
Performing the triangle pose, Trikonasana, against a stunning sunset on the beach. The golden hour light and the sound of the waves make for an unforgettable practice.
Grounding myself with Trikonasana on the banks of the Ganga. The energy of this sacred river and the surrounding mountains makes every breath and movement feel more meaningful.
Opening up in Virabhadrasana II, the warrior two pose, with the majestic Himalayas as my backdrop. This pose builds strength and stability, reflecting the mountains around us.
A deep stretch in Baddha Parsvakonasana, or bound side angle pose, by the river. Practicing outdoors helps deepen your connection to both your body and the earth.
Practicing Urdhva Mukha Svanasana, or upward facing dog, on the coastal rocks. This heart-opening pose feels even more expansive when you're breathing in the fresh sea air.
A playful silhouette in Utkatasana, or chair pose, as I "hold" the setting sun. My retreats are not just about serious practice, but also about finding joy and creativity in movement.
Two of us in Viparita Virabhadrasana, or reverse warrior pose, celebrating the end of a trek in the Coorg mountains. Partner yoga is a wonderful way to build trust and connection.
Creating a heart shape with a partner in a modified triangle pose. This shows the fun and connection we foster in my group retreats.
A mirror image of the reverse warrior pose, stretching and opening up after a long hike through the hills of Kopatty in Coorg.
About Yoga & Nature Retreats
These retreats are designed to be a true reset, not just a weekend away. You will be staying overnight in a rustic, eco-friendly setting, which gives us the time to go beyond the basics. We focus on guided Shatkarma (cleansing) practices, restorative yoga flows, and simple Satvik meals. It is kept to a small group to ensure you get personal guidance, making it safe and welcoming whether you are brand new to detoxing or a seasoned practitioner.
Why a Nature Retreat?
Sometimes, the studio isn't enough. When you change your environment, you change your perspective. My retreats take the practice outdoors—often to peaceful spots near Bengaluru—where the air and the space naturally help you drop the city stress.
What to Expect
We balance movement with deep rest. You won't find loud schedules here. Instead, we work through:
- Morning Active Flow: Building heat and connection with the body.
- Shatkarma & Detox: Guided internal cleansing techniques like Jal Neti. It sounds intense, but the lightness you feel afterward is incredible.
- Restorative Yoga & Nidra: Essential for nervous system recovery.
- Satvik Dining: Simple, healthy, easy-to-digest vegetarian food to support your cleansing process.
Who Is This For?
Honestly, everyone. You don't need to be a 'yoga person' or super flexible. You just need a curiosity to learn and a willingness to step away from your phone and your routine. My focus is on safety, alignment, and community. We keep the groups small—typically 10 to 15 people—so I can personally spot your practice and ensure you are comfortable throughout the detox process.
If you have been looking for a way to hit the 'pause' button and learn skills you can carry back into your daily city life, this is for you.
