This is the escape from city life I offer on my one day treks near Bangalore. We leave the urban chaos to find vast green landscapes where we can walk, sit in silence, and simply be present with nature's beauty.

For me, true happiness is when my passion for yoga and my profession as a guide meet. Here, I am leading a meditation session on a hilltop, sharing the practice that has transformed my own life with others.
I believe we can inspire everybody by being true to ourselves. Leading this meditation session on a mountain top is my way of sharing the peace I have found through yoga, hoping to inspire others on their own path.
A teacher is willing to place the well being of others above their own. During this session on the hills, we were even joined by a curious monkey, reminding us that we are all part of nature's classroom.
About Mountain & Hill Treks
On my treks, we do more than just walk. I integrate specific pranayama sessions at the peak, using the fresh air to assist with your breathing and physical alignment. Whether it is a local day trip from Bangalore or a longer journey to the Himalayas, I personally manage the group pace, ensuring even beginners feel supported and relaxed rather than rushed.
Nature has a way of quieting the mind, or as the old texts say, 'Yoga Chitta Vritti Nirodha'. My treks are designed to facilitate this shift.
The Vivarta Approach to Trekking
I do not see trekking as just a physical challenge. It is a tool for transformation. When we leave the city behind, we open up space for stillness. In my one-day local treks near Bangalore, such as those in Ramanagara or the hills around the city, we combine the hike with a guided meditation session at the summit. This helps you disconnect from the screen and reconnect with your breath.
Where We Go
My retreats and treks cater to different levels of experience:
- One-Day Local Treks: Perfect for a quick break. We handle all logistics, including transport from Bangalore, breakfast, and forest permits, so you just show up.
- Weekend Retreats: We explore gems like Hampi or Gokarna. These are immersive experiences where we practice yoga by the river or the ocean, mixing heritage walks with silent contemplation.
- Himalayan Yatra: For those seeking deep spiritual immersion, we travel to places like Kedarnath. Here, the focus shifts to breathwork to help with acclimatization at high altitudes, ensuring your body adjusts naturally to the mountain environment.
Logistics and Comfort
I believe in keeping things simple and honest. All my packages include shared transport, vegetarian meals, and necessary permits. I am a firm believer that we cannot impress everybody, but we can inspire everybody. By keeping group sizes manageable and providing bilingual support in English and Kannada, I ensure that you are safe, comfortable, and focused on your journey, not on the logistics.
