- Flooring options include IPS (Indian Patent Stone) in colors like Red/Olive with brass inlays, or mirror polished Kota/Jaisalmer stone.
- Wall treatments feature breathable Lime plaster, exposed Compressed Stabilized Earth Blocks, or premium Asian Paints textures.
- Ceiling designs include eco friendly filler slabs with terracotta pots, exposed jack arch roofs, or wooden rafters.
- Civil work covers wall demolition for open plans, creating arched openings, and resizing windows.
Custom Joinery & Woodwork
- Modular kitchens built with BWR ply, finished in PU/Matte Laminate/Veneer, topped with Jet Black Granite or Quartz.

My Approach: Earthy & Honest Design
I believe a home should feel rooted in its place and built to last. My focus is on creating spaces where comfort and sustainability blend naturally. For me, it's not just about looks - it's about how your home works for you and the land it's on.
What I Actually Do
- I handle everything - from the first sketch to when you walk into your finished space. You get updates at every step, so nothing is hidden.
- Every project starts with understanding your daily life. I plan storage, movement, even where you put your chai cup.
- Materials matter a lot. Main hamesha koshish karta hoon (I always try) to use local techniques and things like site-earth bricks, lime plaster, or handmade tiles for that unique touch.
- I bring in artisans from all over - Mumbai lime plaster experts, Kerala flooring teams, Rajasthan carpenters. The result? Your home gets the best craft from across India.
The Look & Feel
Most people say my style is warm minimalism - open, airy, and calm, but never boring. I use earthy colors, but if you love a pop of color (think teal or blush), I'm all in. Every piece of furniture is tailored for you, not just picked off a shelf.

My Story
We kicked off Tropic Responses in 2011, ek simple idea tha—let’s make homes that belong to the tropics, not just sit on it. For me, architecture is all about using mitti (earth), local hands, and culture. Like at Ekadanta, we made bricks from the same land—Mumbai ka lime, Rajasthan ka wood, Kerala ka oxide. People say sustainable homes can’t be posh—challenge accepted! It’s about making luxury gentle on the earth. And ya, teaching young architects? Always a joy.
