This is my Fish Moilee, a beautifully mild and creamy fish curry. Legend says a woman named Molly created it for the Portuguese by toning down the spice with coconut milk. It's a staple at wedding feasts, and I recommend pairing it with soft bread or idiyappams.
Sometimes a craving hits and you have to get creative. Here, I couldn't find 'onakkameen' (dried fish), so I recreated the flavour of my childhood by making a quick version with canned tuna, fried with onions and curry leaves.

I cook every fish curry in traditional earthen chattis rather than stainless steel. It makes a genuine difference you can taste because the porous clay pot breathes during slow-cooking, which keeps the seer fish delicate while letting the spices from Wayanad deeply infuse the sauce.
My kitchen keeps it old-school. Whether you want the milder, creamy Fish Moilee or a punchy Alleppey Fish Curry, I start with fresh seer fish and spices I source directly from Wayanad. Everything is sun-dried and ground in-house, because pre-packaged powders simply do not carry the same aroma.

- Individual cravings: If you just want a meal for one or two, check my menu on the usual delivery apps. These arrive in spill-proof containers, ready to reheat.
- Party trays: For hosting 5 to 50 people, I provide large trays perfect for a buffet. Please note that these are drop-off delivery services only. Since I prepare everything fresh, I need 24-48 hours notice for bulk catering orders to ensure I have the best fresh catch sourced for your date.
While my heart belongs to traditional Kerala seafood, I also occasionally make comfort dishes like Shepherd’s Pie if your family table is craving something different. Whatever you choose, you are getting food made with the same care I use for my own family.
