This is my Fish Moilee, a beautifully mild and creamy fish curry. Legend says a woman named Molly created it for the Portuguese by toning down the spice with coconut milk. It's a staple at wedding feasts, and I recommend pairing it with soft bread or idiyappams.

Sometimes a craving hits and you have to get creative. Here, I couldn't find 'onakkameen' (dried fish), so I recreated the flavour of my childhood by making a quick version with canned tuna, fried with onions and curry leaves.
