About

Bringing the flavours of my childhood straight to your table - that's what I do best. I learned cooking from my Amma, and I've stuck to those roots, but added a pinch of my own instincts too. This isn't just food; it's nostalgia, stories, and a little bit of Kerala in every bite.

What I Cook

  • Authentic Mallu Syrian Christian dishes, from Beef Ullarthu (slow-roasted beef) to wedding-worthy Prawn Mango Curry
  • Continental comfort food like Shepherd's Pie and creamy pastas, because that's what I grew up with too
  • All spices come from Wayanad, and Amma still does the chilli and coriander powder the old way - wash, sun-dry, powder
  • Appam batter made from scratch, mortar and pestle for masalas if time allows

Menu Highlights

  • Must-try: Cutlets (beef, mutton, prawn, fish, veg), perfect for snacking
  • Live appam station catering at your home, paired with my mutton stew
  • Secret tender coconut pudding - light but packs a punch
  • Rich curries and fresh sides, all made with that homemade touch

For Every Gathering

  • Private dinners to big celebrations (3 to 200 people), even chai parties with pazham pori and snacks
  • Kerala private chef experience for intimate weddings, festival feasts like Onam Sadhya, or even chilled-out high-tea
  • Full setup, service, and cleanup - so you can relax and enjoy

We chat, plan the menu together (Malayalam or English, up to you - njan oru chill aanu, I’m easy), and on the day, you just be a guest at your own party. Food is all about connection, and I love making that happen, one meal at a time.

My Story

Once, I was the kid who refused carbs—no rice, no appam, nothing. Amma would pack me perfect appams and I never even knew how lucky I was. Food was always the heart of our family—think holidays with cousins, the kitchen full of laughter and smells I can still taste. Jewellery? Sarees? Nah, food is my real inheritance. Started Travancore Tasties in 2015, thanks to my folks pushing me. Now I get to share my childhood—nostalgia on a plate, straight to your home.
