Bringing you the real taste of a Mallu home kitchen, I cook the food I love to eat - the stuff I grew up on, recipes from my Amma and a line of fierce Syrian Christian women. For me, cooking is all about gut feeling and heart, not just measurements.
The stars here are Kerala classics, full of memories and heavy on flavour. My Beef Ullarthu is proper slow-roasted, and the Mutton Stew comes with appams that need serious babysitting. Fish curry gets its punch from a chatti (earthen pot), and Amma’s chicken roast is the OG recipe, tweaked just a bit. You’ll find crispy cutlets in every protein, plus veggie ones if that’s your thing.
Some days need comfort food, so I also make stuff like Shepherd’s Pie and proper creamy spaghetti - a nod to our mixed family table.
Everything is made from scratch. I grind my own spices (Wayanad only, molaku and malli straight from home), batter’s fresh, and I don’t skip on tradition. No magic, just plain old honesty and a lot of stubbornness to keep things authentic.
