About Dine-in Restaurant
Food with a Story
I cook what I love to eat, and honestly, most of what’s on the menu is what I grew up eating at home. For me, the taste of home is priceless, and every dish at Coracle carries a bit of family history. The food here isn’t just recipes—it’s memories, instincts, and those little tricks only my Amma could have taught me.
Nostalgia, Kerala-Style
If you’re after a Kerala cuisine restaurant that feels like a friend’s house, that’s what I’m aiming for. Expect traditional South Indian food with a few twists—think fluffy appams, slow-roasted beef ullarthu, Amma’s chicken roast, and Alleppey fish curry. It’s mostly Mallu Syrian Christian cooking, but you’ll spot a little Continental influence sneaking in, just like at our festival tables back home.
What’s Different Here
- Every spice mix is made from scratch, using whole spices (Wayanad and beyond).
- We baby-sit our batters—good appam takes patience!
- The menu is tight: only stuff I care about makes the cut.
- Some days, what’s fresh at the market decides what’s on your plate.
The Space
We’re tucked inside Bangalore International Centre, Domlur. The vibe? Modern, but not stiff—perfect for a cozy dining experience, whether you’re out for a family dinner or a solo break. There’s a full bar too, if you want to wind down with a drink.

My Story
Once, I was the kid who refused carbs—no rice, no appam, nothing. Amma would pack me perfect appams and I never even knew how lucky I was. Food was always the heart of our family—think holidays with cousins, the kitchen full of laughter and smells I can still taste. Jewellery? Sarees? Nah, food is my real inheritance. Started Travancore Tasties in 2015, thanks to my folks pushing me. Now I get to share my childhood—nostalgia on a plate, straight to your home.
