Control the fight on the ground. Whether you are learning defensive locks or competitive submissions, these sessions build the technical discipline you need to handle opponents of any size.

In our Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu classes, you learn how to use leverage to control and submit an opponent. I am instructing the student to 'tight kar' the lock to make it effective.

More BJJ training with the kids. I am correcting a student's grip, telling him to 'tight kar' to properly apply the headlock technique.

About The Ground Game: BJJ & Judo

In these sessions, you will not just learn moves. You will spend time on the mats practicing the mechanics of body positioning. Whether it is a guard pass or an armbar, I expect you to hold it with purpose. If you are sloppy, the lock fails, and that is how you learn that technique matters more than your size.

Many people assume fighting is all about striking. The ground game is where most real confrontations end up. My BJJ and Judo program teaches you how to control a situation once it hits the mat. We work on the six primary positions, including the guard and mount, ensuring you understand how to use your weight to control an opponent.

This is not a hobby class where you just show up to stretch. We use heavy drilling to build muscle memory. If you are working on a guillotine choke or a Kimura lock, you will drill it until it becomes instinct. I keep the environment controlled, but the intensity is high. You will sweat, you will get tired, and you will learn that patience beats panic every time.

Safety comes first. Even kids learn the importance of the tap-out. Knowing when to stop is just as vital as knowing how to apply a submission. My goal is to get you competition-ready or street-safe, not injured. Whether you are at our Tilak Nagar academy, the focus remains the same: precise technique over brute force.
