About Ground Fighting & Grappling
Most street altercations end up on the ground, and that is exactly where most people panic. Here, we train specifically for those moments. Whether you are pinning an opponent or escaping a hold, we use 25mm to 35mm EVA foam mats to drill takedowns and submission defense safely. You are not just learning moves; you are building the spatial awareness to stay calm when you are pinned or on your back.
Grappling is the great equalizer. It does not matter how big or strong your opponent is; if you understand leverage, control, and weight distribution, you can neutralize a threat on the ground.
Why Ground Fighting Matters
In my sessions at our Beta II facility, we break down the fight into three phases: the takedown, the control, and the submission. Many people focus only on striking, but if you cannot handle yourself on the mat, you are missing half the picture. We drill the fundamentals of Jiu-Jitsu and wrestling so you can control an opponent’s movement and end a fight quickly and safely.
What We Cover:
- Takedowns & Defense: Learning how to take the fight to the ground or prevent yourself from being taken down.
- Submission Holds: We teach techniques like the Rear Naked Choke (RNC) and joint locks. You learn how to apply them, but more importantly, how to escape them if someone tries them on you.
- Ground Control: Understanding top and bottom positions. Being on your back is not a disadvantage if you know how to use your guard effectively.
- Safety First: We train on high-quality shock-absorbing mats to ensure you can practice high-intensity drills without injury.
This is not a movie set. We do live sparring, pad drills, and grappling sessions to build your muscle memory. Je tusi sher nahi ho, ta shikar ho veere (If you're not a lion, you're the prey, brother). Whether you are a complete beginner or looking to sharpen your MMA game, come ready to work.
