I drill my students relentlessly on boxing combinations like the jab, cross, and high round. Speed and accuracy are key, and I push for both in every session.

About Boxing Fundamentals & Sparring

You might be used to throwing punches at a gym mirror, but here, we train for impact. I focus heavily on footwork and guard integrity before you even think about sparring. If you do not learn to throw a proper jab or keep your chin tucked now, you are just wasting your energy. We fix your technique, then we hit the bags, then we spar.

Boxing is not just about cardio; it is about precision and reaction. Many people come to my academy thinking they will just sweat, but they leave knowing how to actually fight.

My Approach to Boxing

  • Technique First: Before you touch a heavy bag, you learn to move. We drill footwork until it is second nature because a punch without a solid base is just a push.
  • Combo Drills: We work on specific combinations like the jab-cross-hook-cross. I will be there correcting your hands, ensuring your elbows are tucked and your guard is up.
  • Controlled Sparring: This is where theory becomes reality. We do light, controlled sparring so you can read an opponent, defend, and counter-attack without unnecessary injury.
