Functional Strength & Conditioning for Real Power
Forget fancy machines and shortcuts. Here, we build raw power using old-school Gada, tire flips, and intense bodyweight circuits. It is hard work, but this is how you become a stronger version of yourself.
Flipping this heavy tire builds total-body strength and explosive power. This is the kind of functional training we do to create real athletes.
A group of students performs a challenging core and flexibility exercise. A strong core is the foundation of all power in martial arts.
This drill builds incredible core strength and stability. Students learn to support weight, which translates to better grappling and defense.
Push-ups are a fundamental exercise for building upper body and core strength. We do them right and we do a lot of them.
A student practices with a Gada, or mace, an ancient tool for developing shoulder strength, grip, and rotational power.
A high-energy cardio and strength drill. We keep the workouts varied and intense to shock the body into getting stronger and leaner.
A group of students sweating through a high-intensity cardio session. This is how we build the endurance needed to last in a fight.
A female student performs overhead presses and plate raises. We incorporate weight training to build the strength needed for powerful strikes.
Students hold a push-up position after a grueling boxing drill. This builds muscular endurance and mental toughness. "Hold karo!"
Students doing push-ups while wearing boxing gloves. We integrate conditioning into every part of the workout to maximize results.
About Functional Strength & Conditioning
This isn't your typical gym where you just count reps in a mirror. When you pick up a Gada or flip a heavy tire, you learn to use your whole body as a single unit, which is exactly how you handle force in real-life situations. I focus on immediate technique correction—if your form is shaky, we stop, fix it, and go again, because power without technique is just wasted effort.
Building Raw, Usable Strength
My approach to conditioning is simple: train for function, not just aesthetics. Most gyms focus on isolating muscles, but that doesn't help you in a fight, in a tough game of sports, or in everyday life where you need stability and endurance.
We utilize equipment that mimics real-world resistance:
- Gada (Mace) Training: Used to develop shoulder stability, grip strength, and rotational power that you cannot get from a dumbbell.
- Tire Flips: This is total-body conditioning. It forces your legs, back, and core to work in unison to move an awkward, heavy object.
- Bodyweight & HIIT: We do high-volume circuits involving burpees, squats, and push-ups to keep your heart rate up and build the stamina needed to last when things get tough.
The Akhada Environment
You won't find AC or flashy mirrors here at our Tilak Nagar facility. We train in an Akhada-style environment with puzzle mats because this is about focus. Whether you are coming in for a group batch or 1-on-1 personal training, you are here to learn how to generate force. If you are ready to trade comfort for results and actually get strong, you are in the right place.
MMA Tigers
I'm Gopi, and my only job here is to make you strong, not just fit for the mirror. If you join my floor, expect sweat, intensity, and direct instructions. I will push you past what you think is your limit, but I'll make sure your technique is solid every step of the way.
