About Our Famous Thalis
When you order a thali, you get a full, 5-compartment meal tray that is designed to be a complete experience. You aren't just getting a curry; you get 300g of rice, dal, Aloo Pitika, seasonal bhaja, and your choice of protein like Smoked Pork or Naga Mutton. It is built for those days when you need a proper, filling meal that tastes exactly like it came from a family kitchen.
I believe in 'barkat'—abundance—so every thali is a proper meal. Whether you are craving the tangy kick of bamboo shoot or the strong, earthy punch of Axone (fermented soybean), these thalis cover the full range of Northeast flavours.
I prepare the meats with the same cuts we use back home, bone-in and fatty, to keep that authentic texture. The Naga thali comes with a distinct, spicy profile, while the Assamese options focus on more subtle, home-style comfort. If you go for the Manipuri thali, expect the traditional Eromba and Singju salad on the side to balance the meal.
I pack everything in spill-proof containers, so even if you order for delivery, the rice, dal, and curries stay distinct and warm. I am based in Andheri West, so if you are in the area and need a real meal, just reach out. These aren't just restaurant portions; they are a direct line to the flavours of Assam, Nagaland, and Manipur.
