Authentic Northeast Veggie Dishes and Traditional Sides
Bring the real taste of home to your table. From traditional Manipuri Eromba to fiery King Chilli chutneys, these sides and veggie dishes deliver the true flavours of the Northeast to your Mumbai meal.
This is Eromba, a traditional Manipuri dish. It's made by mashing boiled vegetables with fermented fish and a lot of chilli, topped with fresh onions.
A bowl of spicy Manipuri Singju salad. It's a refreshing and crunchy salad made with shredded cabbage, herbs, and other ingredients, perfect for those who love spicy food.
My homemade King Chilli chutney. Made from one of the hottest chillies in the world, this chutney is not for the faint of heart but adds an incredible flavour to any meal.
I also offer simple and delicious vegetarian options like this Naga style mixed vegetable curry and a classic egg curry.
For a healthy option, try my fresh egg salad. It's loaded with boiled eggs, beetroot, carrots, onions, and tomatoes, making it a nutritious meal.
A plate of crispy honey chilli potato, a popular starter that is sweet, spicy, and crunchy all at once.

About Authentic Sides & Veggie Dishes
When you order these sides, keep in mind that I do not take shortcuts. Whether it is the fermented fish in my Eromba or the intense heat of the Raja Mircha chutney, every ingredient is sourced to maintain the original taste you would find back home. If you are trying these for the first time, mix them generously with plain steamed rice to properly balance the bold flavours.
Authentic food is about balance, and these sides are designed to complete your meal. My vegetable preparations go beyond the basics, offering a glimpse into the culinary traditions of Assam, Nagaland, and Manipur.
Why these sides matter
When you order a thali or a meat curry, adding a side like Eromba provides that essential, earthy texture. The Singju salad is my go-to for something fresh and crunchy. I make sure these are prepared using the same methods I grew up with, meaning I do not compromise on the pungent, fermented notes that make this cuisine unique.
The heat level
Yes, the King Chilli chutney is spicy. I use fresh Raja Mircha to ensure you get that distinct, sharp flavour, not just raw heat. A little goes a long way.
Freshly prepared in Andheri
Everything you see here is made to order in my kitchen. Whether you are in Andheri West or nearby, I ensure the packaging preserves the heat and texture of the vegetables. These dishes are not meant to be stand-alone snacks but rather the perfect companions to a bowl of warm, steamed rice or a hearty meat stew.
