Hand Embroidered Heritage & Custom Designs
From intricate Kasuti sarees to mindful hoop art, this collection showcases the depth of my work. Every piece here tells a story of patience, heritage, and deliberate, handmade detail.
For me, embroidery is more than a pattern on cloth; it is your story stitched into every thread. I work with you to understand your vision, colors, and emotions, ensuring each custom saree is a unique expression of your individuality, not just another item from a mass-produced trend.
This is a glimpse into the vibrant palette and diverse textures I work with. From the rich florals of Kutch work to the geometric precision of Kasuti, I use a wide range of traditional embroidery techniques to bring your vision to life on fabric.
I love creating pieces that are both beautiful and innovative, like this special 'flip saree' on desi tussar. One side features intricate Negi embroidery with traditional Karnataka motifs like the Gandaberunda, while the other reveals a delicate combination of nail block printing and Kasuti work for a completely different look.
Hoop art allows me to paint with thread, creating detailed botanical scenes that can be treasured forever. This piece combines various freestyle stitches to capture the delicate forms of flowers, leaves, and a butterfly, turning a simple hoop into a captivating piece of wall decor.
The process of embroidery is a meditative practice. Here, I am working on a blouse piece, using a herringbone stitch. I believe that the neatness of the work on both the front and the back of the fabric is crucial, as it reflects the care and patience invested in the craft.
I design ready-to-wear pieces that blend traditional craft with modern style. This mustard yellow cotton blouse features classic Kasuti embroidery motifs and a contemporary keyhole back, making it a versatile and elegant addition to any wardrobe.
Holding a finished piece is a moment of pure joy. This colorful hand-embroidered bookmark, showcasing a geometric Kasuti pattern, is an example of how even small, everyday items can be transformed into personal works of art.
During a quiet time, I created this indigo tussar silk saree as a personal canvas, a sampler of my skills. It incorporates many different styles, from Japanese Sashiko and Indian Kantha to Kutch work and Brazilian embroidery, telling a story of global craft traditions on a single piece.
About Featured
When you look closely at my work, notice the back of the fabric. I believe true mastery lies in the finish, so the reverse side should look just as clean and intentional as the front. This level of detail is not just for aesthetics; it is the signature of genuine hand embroidery, whether I am working on a delicate Kasuti border or a complex multi-stitch saree.
I do not follow fast-fashion trends. My studio in Koramangala is where I sit down to work on pieces that actually mean something to you. Whether you are bringing in a Kanjeevaram that needs new life through upcycling or commissioning a custom blouse, the process is intentionally slow.
I am GI-certified in Kasuti, which means I use traditional counted-thread techniques that honour our roots. But I also love experimenting; you will see me blending Sashiko, Kantha, and Zardosi depending on the fabric and your vision. If you have a specific piece of clothing that feels finished, let’s talk about restoring it rather than replacing it. From framed hoop art that brings a touch of nature into your home to bridal blouses, every piece goes through a mindful process where I prioritize the longevity of the stitch over the speed of production.
