Monthly Competition Training
Training Regimen
- Frequency & Duration: 3 sessions per week, approximately 60-90 minutes per session during evening slots.
- Sparring (Kyorugi): High-intensity tactical training involving footwork, distancing, and reaction time with live partner simulation.
- Technical Focus: Detailed breakdown of scoring kicks (Roundhouse, Back Kick, Hook Kick) and Poomsae (Forms) posture correction.
Physical Conditioning
- Strength & Agility: Functional fitness using agility hurdles for plyometrics, wall sits for endurance, and partner resistance drills.
- Mentorship: Direct coaching focusing on overcoming fear and developing mental resilience.
Facility & Equipment
- Surface: 20mm-25mm EVA interlocking puzzle mats laid out in school courtyards or community halls.
- Academy Gear: Access to shared kicking paddles, focus mitts, and blocking shields during class.
Mandatory Competition Gear Kit
Uniform (Dobok)
- Style: Standard White V-neck pullover jacket and trousers with elastic waist.
- Material: Poly-cotton blend fabric suitable for humidity, includes Academy branding.
Protective Safety Gear
- Head & Torso: Foam dipped headgear (Red/Blue or White) and reversible Chest Guard (Hogu).
- Limbs: Forearm guards and Shin guards made of PU leather or foam with velcro straps.
Vital Protection
- Essentials: Groin guard (L-guard) worn under the uniform and a standard mouth guard.
- Compliance: Gear meets basic safety standards required for District and State level competitions.
Tournament Support Package
Event Management
- Registration: Handling of official entry forms, age verification documents, and payment of association entry fees.
- Weigh-in: Guidance on weight management and on-site support during the official weigh-in process.
Competition Day Support
- Corner Coaching: Ringside presence of Coach or senior Black Belt to provide real-time strategy adjustments during bouts.
- Logistics: Management of bout schedules, warm-up timing, and coordination of shared team equipment.
Post-Event
- Recognition: Team photo sessions and medal ceremony coordination.
About Competition Preparation
I get what it feels like to want more than just a medal. For me, Taekwondo competition prep is about building guts and never backing down, not just collecting trophies. If you’re after quick wins, this isn’t your spot. But if you’re ready to push through the tough days, you’ll see what you’re made of.
How I Train for the Real Thing
- Training is a mix: taekwondo sparring training, poomsae (forms), and making you strong in the head and body.
- Sparring sessions with full gear, real referees, and that “main event” pressure. You’ll hear me calling out, “Push karke maaro” (push and hit) to keep your energy up.
- Poomsae competition coaching is strict—balance, power, and timing are drilled till you don’t have to think, your body just moves.
- Not just kicks and punches: We jump hurdles, do wall sits, push-ups. I’ll pull you out of ‘phone ki duniya’ (phone world) so you can focus for real.
Results That Matter
- Students as young as 6 and 7 have brought home gold at district and state level.
- Youth martial arts competition isn’t just for the few—it’s for anyone who decides they won’t give up.
- Most people quit. The ones who stay till the end? Those are the real champs.

My Story
Consistency, yahi sab kuch hai. Main khud bachpan mein Tadasana 10,000+ baar kiya, issi wajah se height bhi achhi ho gayi (6’1” hoon main!). Yehi lagan main apni classes mein laata hoon - har pose, har bow respect aur discipline sikhata hai. Gaffar Pathan Sir se milna recently ek proud moment tha. Humari journey respect se shuru hoti hai, aur main chahta hoon har student mein yeh values aaye, step by step.

More Than Just Martial Arts - Yahan sirf fighting nahi, discipline, focus aur never-give-up attitude bhi sikhaate hain. Bachche phone se nikal kar confident bante hain.
Special Approach for Kids - Chhote bachchon ko patience aur repetition se skills sikhate hain. Kabhi unko bade bachcho se compare nahi karte.
Black Belt Dream - Black belt banna dedication maangta hai. Agar lage raho, toh body strongest weapon ban jaati hai.
