Behind the scenes of my yoga journey

When I lost my corporate job and later fractured my ankle, I realized that physical flexibility is secondary to the flexibility of the mind. My teachers, especially those within the Art of Living lineage, taught me that practice is not a performance. It is a way to handle the messiness of life, from managing corporate burnout to navigating the physical challenges of pregnancy.

Why I share my moments

People often ask me why I post about my personal sadhana or my time with mentors. It is because I want you to know that I am a student first. I do not have all the answers. Sometimes I struggle to sit still, and sometimes I have to remind myself that 'Jo mil jaye acha hain, jo na mile woh bhi acha hain!' (What you get is good, what you don't get is also good!).

My teaching philosophy

My classes are built on this honest foundation. Whether we are doing prenatal flows or desk yoga for stress, I strip away the 'Instagram' pressure. We focus on:

• Breathwork over fancy poses: Because your nervous system needs calm, not a complex posture.
• Real-life alignment: I teach you how to move your body in ways that support your daily life, whether you are dealing with pregnancy symptoms or long office hours.
• Mentorship: I bring the wisdom I have gathered from my own teachers into our sessions so you feel supported beyond just the physical exercise.
