What Music Means to Us

Music is more than an act for us - it's sadhana, a journey with soul. At Swarveni Gurukul, we put bhaav (emotion) and honesty at the centre of every note. Every time I sing, I ask myself and my team, "Bhaav aaya ya nahi?" (Did the emotion come through or not?). That’s the real test for us, not just hitting the right notes.

When you call us, it's not just a concert. We bring the full vibe of Hindustani classical and semi-classical music, rooted in Guru-Shishya tradition. Whether it’s a formal stage or a small baithak, our aim is simple - let the music create peace for everyone present. Raga, rhythm, rasa - that's the heart of our shows.

• Live Ghazal performance and semi-classical: Ghazals, Thumri, Chaiti, Bhav Sangeet for mehfils

The Team & How We Roll

I, Pt. Ashish Narayan Tripathi, lead vocals with my ensemble - tabla, harmonium, sarangi, sitar, sometimes guest artists or our senior students. Together, we create a full soundscape, always keeping the audience’s mood in mind.
