About Private Concert & 'Baithak' Curation
What Music Means to Us
At Swarveni, music is not just for passing time. It’s a sadhana - a practice where feeling (bhaav) is everything. We started private baithaks to keep the old-school Indian classical music feel alive, and to build a community where real rasikas (music lovers) actually connect with the music, not just hear it.
How Our Baithaks Work
- You sit close to the artists - no fancy stage, no distance. Just the vibe of raga, rhythm, and rasa all around.
- It’s not just a show. You get to interact, ask questions, get into the details of the music. If you want a truly intimate classical music gathering, this is it.
- Sometimes, you might even end up singing along or sharing your own story.
Curating Your Musical Evening
- We can set up a full private concert at your place or ours, with guest artists who know their stuff - from sitar and sarod to tabla and vocals.
- Want something special? We do custom baithak events around festivals, seasons or even moods - like Malhar for monsoon, Holi, or even ghazal nights.
- Our regular monthly baithaks and annual Swarveni Utsav keep the energy alive, so you can join in or host one yourself.
Where It Happens
- Our academy in Rohini gives that old-school baithak feel.
- We can bring the same Indian music house concert vibe to your home or any venue you choose. We sort out everything - sound, decor, the works.

My Story
Namaskar, main Ashish Narayan Tripathi. Swarveni Gurukul for me is not just a place, it's home. Yahan pe music sirf hobby nahi hai, yeh toh poori zindagi hai. Guru-Shishya parampara mein hum music ko ek sadhana mante hain. Baithaks karte hain, jahan har sur, har bhaav ko mehsoos kar sakte ho. Mere bete Suramya bhi isi raaste pe hai, aur mujhe garv hai yeh sab share karne mein. Aap bhi aaiye, humare is musical safar ka hissa baniye.
My Work
Hindustani Vocal Classes - Online & Offline - We teach Hindustani vocal, both online for faraway students and offline at our Gurukul.
Workshops & Baithak Music Sessions - Regular baithaks and workshops, where you can feel every note up close.
Teaching with Bhaav (Emotion) - Here, sur aur taal ke saath-saath, bhaav sabse zaroori hai. Without emotion, music is empty.
For All Ages & Levels - Beginner ho ya advanced, 7 saal ke ho ya 70, sabke liye jagah hai.
Holistic Music Learning - It’s not just about singing, it’s a community. Listen, perform, and grow with others.
