Beginner Foundation & Fitness
Session Details
- Frequency: 3 sessions per week (Alternate days).
- Duration: 60 to 75 minutes per session.
- Ratio: Group coaching format (approx. 1:12 coach-to-student).
Training Focus
- Basics: Grip correction, service rules, and strokes like toss, lift, and net play.
- Fitness: Cardio warm-ups, agility ladder drills, and bodyweight exercises (pushups, squats).
- Gameplay: Half-court or full-court sparring in the last 20 minutes.
Facilities & Gear
- Courts: Synthetic green mats or wooden flooring.
- Shuttles: Nylon or Hybrid shuttlecocks provided for drills.
- Requirement: Students must bring their own racket and non-marking shoes.
Intermediate Competitive Training
Intensive Schedule
- Frequency: 5 to 6 sessions per week.
- Duration: 90 to 120 minutes including extended fitness.
- Supervision: Led by Senior Coaches with a tighter 1:8 ratio.
Advanced Technical Training
- Drills: High-volume multi-feed shuttle drills for reflexes and smash consistency.
- Strokes: Training on jump smashes, slice drops, and backhand clears.
- Tactics: 2v1 routines and situational match practice.
Conditioning & Perks
- Equipment Fitness: Use of battle ropes, plyometric boxes, and hurdles.
- Shuttles: Feather shuttlecocks used for all sessions.
- Tournaments: Priority selection for internal and district championship entries.
Elite Pro Performance
High Performance Structure
- Frequency: 6 days per week with double sessions (Morning + Evening).

- Expertise: Direct oversight by Specialized Indonesian Coach and Chief Coach.
- Ratio: Low player-to-coach ratio (approx 1:4).

- Drills: International-style shadow footwork, deceptive stroke play, and interception drills.
- Strength: Periodized weight training and core conditioning with gym access.
- Analysis: Video review of sparring sessions for biomechanics.
Athlete Support
- Management: Guidance on BAI registration and tournament calendar planning.
- Mental: Mentoring sessions for handling tournament pressure.

Who Can Join
- Kids 4+ who need to burn energy and learn focus. I shape their discipline and confidence through kids badminton classes, keeping it fun but challenging.
- Adults 20+ who want out of the boring gym drill. Our adult group badminton sessions push fitness, burn calories, and welcome everyone from total beginners to those chasing intermediate badminton training.
My Training Method
- On-court drills: Multi-shuttle, footwork, net play, 2v1, endless smash technique coaching.
- Off-court fitness: Full-body workouts, strength sessions, and agility drills. It’s tough, but it works.
- Mindset: I build mental grit through regular check-ins and mentoring. Chal chal aage! (Keep moving forward!)

My Story
At SSBA, we’re all about sweat, laughter, and that ‘no excuses’ grind. Kids, seniors, first-timers—everyone hits the court here. I’ve seen a 64-year-old smashing birdies next to a 4-year-old learning their first serve. We started this to get kids off screens and into the game. Our coaches and students? Tight-knit, hungry for medals—we bagged 47 in one championship! We’re family. Turn up, train hard, play harder.
