Why Our Tournaments Matter
I know how much real match experience matters for young players. At our events, it’s not just about playing a game - you get to test yourself, see where you stand, and maybe even surprise yourself. This is where you find out how much all those practice hours really count.
Who Can Join
I keep things open for all young badminton enthusiasts, not just academy students. Both boys and girls can compete. Check the categories:
- Singles: U9, U11, U13, U15, U17
- Doubles: U13, U15, U17
Doesn’t matter where you train, if you’re serious, you’re welcome.
What’s at Stake
Winners and runners-up take home more than just memories:
- Up to ₹3 Lakhs total in cash and gifts (yeah, that’s a serious prize pool)
- Trophies and certificates for everyone who earns them
How It Works
- All matches use feather shuttles for that proper tournament feel
- Match format changes by round (sometimes single game, sometimes best of 3)
- Age proof as per Badminton Association of India rules is a must - no jugaad here
If entries are low in any category, the prize money might get adjusted. I keep things fair and transparent, no last-minute surprises.

My Story
At SSBA, we’re all about sweat, laughter, and that ‘no excuses’ grind. Kids, seniors, first-timers—everyone hits the court here. I’ve seen a 64-year-old smashing birdies next to a 4-year-old learning their first serve. We started this to get kids off screens and into the game. Our coaches and students? Tight-knit, hungry for medals—we bagged 47 in one championship! We’re family. Turn up, train hard, play harder.
My Work
Badminton, Tennis, Pickleball Coaching - We coach kids (4+) and adults, beginners to pros. Skill training, fitness, sports psychologist sessions, pay-and-play.
