Creating Residential Sanctuaries That Feel Like Home
We believe a home should be a quiet retreat from the city. Our residential approach focuses on open plans, natural light, and honest materials to build spaces that are layered, not loud.
Welcome to 'Pad by the Bay,' a 2,500 sq. ft. home on the Prabhadevi coastline. The living room, wrapped in warm oak veneer, is designed as a space of stillness and light, where curated furniture and art create a dialogue between form and function.
In this sea-facing apartment, the living room is a study in restraint. A simple color palette and soft textures ensure that the expansive view of the water remains the focal point, creating a calm and sophisticated urban retreat.
This image captures the essence of our open-plan design philosophy. The living and dining areas of 'The Canvas' apartment flow into one another, separated only by a raw concrete column, creating a unified space that is perfect for both family life and entertaining.
A glimpse into 'Project I' in Mahalakshmi, Mumbai. The living room is designed to feel grounded and authentic, with a custom wooden bookshelf, comfortable seating, and sheer curtains that filter the city light, creating a soft, pleasant atmosphere.
Golden hour at 'The Canvas' project in Marine Drive. The setting sun casts long shadows across the dining area, highlighting the texture of the exposed brick and the warmth of the wooden table, showcasing how light transforms a space throughout the day.
The dining room at 'The Canvas' at dusk. The space is designed to be a backdrop for the client's art collection and the stunning sea view, with exposed brick walls and marble flooring creating a play of raw and refined textures.
A detail from the 'High on 38th' penthouse in Gurgaon. This entertainment area features a striking bar with a textured stone front and brass accents, blending sophisticated materials with a bold design statement for a luxurious feel.
The living area of 'Chapter 23' in Mahalakshmi, where comfort meets purpose. The design uses a mix of plush furniture, modern lighting, and access to an open terrace to create a harmonious living space that resonates with the family's spirit.
'That Apartment' in Worli showcases seamless transitions between spaces. Here, a comfortable leather armchair is perfectly positioned to take in the sea view, demonstrating our focus on creating functional and beautiful moments within a home.
A look at the living room of 'Pad By The Bay' in Prabhadevi. The design uses a neutral palette and natural materials to create a calm, timeless feel, with a large abstract painting adding a splash of color and personality.
About Residential Sanctuaries
When we design a home, we look at how the space breathes. We prioritize open floor plans and flexible partitions that let natural light travel through, rather than dividing rooms into rigid boxes. It is about making sure that whether you are in a high-rise in Mumbai or a villa in Gurgaon, the architecture supports your daily life instead of dictating it.
Architecture for us is a conversation with the environment. For residential projects, we start by understanding the context. A sea-facing apartment in Mumbai requires a different response than a penthouse in Gurgaon. We do not apply a standard template. Instead, we use honest materials like exposed brick, raw concrete, Kota stone, and warm wood to give each home its own character.
Our Approach to Residential Design
Honest Materials We believe in showing things as they are. You will find raw surfaces that age gracefully. We avoid fake finishes or heavy ornamentation because we prefer the tactile quality of natural stone and timber. This approach creates a home that feels grounded and comfortable rather than showy.
Spatial Freedom Most apartments are defined by walls. We prefer to define zones through furniture placement and flooring shifts. This keeps the view open and allows for natural ventilation. If you need privacy, we integrate sliding partitions that can change the room configuration in seconds.
Collaboration We work closely with the people who will live in the space. Your art collection, your favorite chair, your need for quiet—these are the starting points of our design. We bring in skilled craftsmen to ensure that every joinery detail is executed with precision. It is a messy, hands-on process, but that is how we build homes that feel alive.
