Architecture for us starts here, at The Loft, where we scribble messy ideas and debate over sketches. It is not just about the final blueprints; it is about the team huddles, the afternoon coffee, and the constant dialogue with our materials that makes the work real before it hits the ground.
Our studio in Fort, Mumbai, is more than a workspace. It is a living, breathing part of our design process. When we talk about context, we mean it. We sit in a century-old Victorian building, surrounded by the art precinct's history, which constantly challenges us to do better.
We believe in the power of 'creative mess.' You will find stacks of books, material samples, and sticky notes everywhere. This environment allows us to experiment with light and texture. We obsess over the raw finishes like exposed brick and Kota stone, and we test how they interact with the Mumbai sun throughout the day.
It is also about the team. From the junior architects to our trusted craftsmen, every voice contributes to the story. We have a hat stand named Alfred who watches over us, reminding us that good design is simply about doing your job quietly and reliably.
When we take on a project, we bring this same spirit of collaboration to your site. We do not believe in sterile, detached design. We believe in being present, getting our hands dirty, and ensuring that what we install, we install honestly.
