We design homes in Mumbai that serve as quiet sanctuaries. Through natural materials, open layouts, and precise craftsmanship, we turn city apartments into meditative retreats.

This view captures the essence of the Multilevel House, where staggered floors, a custom bookcase, and a large window framing the trees create a dynamic yet peaceful living environment. It shows how I use architecture to shape experience.

In this lounge, I used a bold color palette and a custom arched glass screen to define the space while maintaining a sense of openness. The design balances modern art with classic materials for a home that feels both exciting and comfortable.

A master bedroom designed as a minimalist refuge. The simple archway creates a gentle transition into a quiet reading nook, demonstrating my belief that homes should provide spaces for peace and silence away from a frenetic world.

This custom staircase is a centerpiece, not just a utility. I replaced a bulky concrete structure with this lighter, open-riser design in metal and solid timber, allowing sunlight to flow freely through the duplex home.

I designed this sliding and folding internal window to connect the kitchen and dining areas. It improves cross ventilation and visual connectivity, allowing for more interaction and transforming the feel of the space.

Creating an intimate seating area for two that feels like a part of the lush greenery outside. I use large, carefully placed windows to frame views of nature, making it a constant, calming presence within the home.

The dining space in the Ved House features a textured terracotta wall, a cool marble tabletop, and warm cane chairs. This interplay of authentic materials and colors creates a rich, inviting atmosphere for meals.

This living area is defined by a double-height ceiling and a large skylight, bathing the space in natural light. My designs often incorporate such features to make homes feel expansive, open, and full of life.

About Featured

Every home we design begins by prioritizing how a space feels over how it looks. We focus on structural details and material warmth, such as using teak wood, marble, or lime plaster to create texture and silence. Our goal is to balance Mumbai's intense urban environment with interiors that allow you to pause, breathe, and find genuine calm.

Our Approach to Sanctuary Living

In the middle of Mumbai's chaos, we believe a home must function as a refuge. Our design process starts with understanding how a space can help you disconnect from digital noise and reconnect with yourself. This philosophy dictates every decision we make, from the initial floor plan to the final material finish.

Materiality and Craftsmanship

We are obsessed with authentic materials that age well. You will often find our projects featuring teak wood, natural stone, and lime plaster. These choices are not aesthetic decisions alone, but functional ones, providing tactile warmth that synthetic materials cannot replicate. We pay extreme attention to wall edges, shadow gaps, and flooring transitions because precision is where the quality of a home is truly felt.

Shaping the Space

Our architectural interventions are designed to open up compact Mumbai apartments. We use double-height spaces, skylights, and internal windows to bring in natural light and encourage cross-ventilation. By introducing elements like open-riser staircases in metal and timber, we remove the visual bulk of traditional construction, creating airy, expansive living environments.

Bespoke Furniture and Art Integration

Beyond the architecture, we help curate the life of the home. We design custom furniture, such as rattan-infill wardrobes and functional breakfast counters, to fit your specific habits. We also work with art collectors to integrate personal collections into the design, treating lighting and wall surfaces as backdrops for your memories and objects. Whether we are planning a split-level layout or a reading nook by a window, the focus remains on creating a home that is reflective, quiet, and uniquely yours.
