We don't do loud; we do layered. Our design philosophy starts with raw, honest materials that tell a story. From exposed brick to cool Kota stone, we select textures that make a space feel grounded, tactile, and deeply human.

Why do we use bricks so often? Because they tell a true story. This close-up shows the raw, tactile texture that becomes a primary feature in many of our projects, grounding the design in a vernacular context.

Every brick, every joint, every layer carries thought and effort. We choose to reveal the structure of a building, allowing the inherent beauty of the materials to define the space.

Raw brick in our studio, The Loft. No paint, no pretense. Just honest, tactile warmth that catches the morning light. This is exactly why we love it.

Cemented bricks hold together stories, weight, and layers. They are strong, unpretentious, and real, forming the structural and aesthetic backbone of projects like The Mango House.

Concrete is our calm. It’s not trying to impress you; it just exists, quietly and firmly. In this dining space, the concrete wall provides a cool, neutral backdrop for the warm wood and woven chairs.

Shahabad stone feels like cool stone under bare feet. It's grounded, dark, and a little moody, adding depth and a sense of permanence to the floors of our studio.

Kota stone is the middle ground, not too polished, not too rugged. Here, its smooth, cool surface provides a perfect floor for a sunlit bedroom, balancing the warmth of the wood and the olive green wall.

You might not expect to see marble paired with raw brick or concrete, but we love the contrast. Here, the polished marble floor reflects light and adds a touch of refinement that balances the ruggedness of the brick wall.

Tonality is half the story. We don't do loud; we do layered. This view in one of our projects shows how the warm tones of brick and wood talk to the cool white walls, creating a balanced and harmonious composition.

Raw, white, cemented... all of these materials tell the truth of the building. In this space, a large window frames a stunning natural view, while the exposed brick and white walls speak to the honesty of the construction.

About The Art of Materiality

When we select materials, we prioritize how they behave in our climate—like how Kota stone stays naturally cool underfoot or how exposed brick breathes with Mumbai’s humidity. We avoid hiding these surfaces behind veneers because we believe a home should tell the truth of its own construction.
