Real Yoga Practice: Moving Beyond Just Stretching
This is not a gym. At Soul to Shiva, we use props and discipline to help you find alignment, whether you are a beginner or looking for advanced asana practice.
A student practices Virabhadrasana III (Warrior III) on a yoga wheel, a powerful pose for building full-body stability.
Reason to slow down: Creativity thrives in stillness. Quiet the noise, and watch inspiration flow.
Reason to slow down: Peace is a necessity, not a luxury. It's the foundation of sustainable growth.
Reason to slow down: Your mind is begging for a break. Give it the rest it needs to function at its best.
It's time to pause, breathe, and embrace stillness. Here are three reasons you should slow down today.
Unlocking inner power with Soul to Shiva. Finding stillness and strength in this backbend is a journey within.
Using the wall ropes to build core and arm strength. New batches are always starting.
From basic forward folds to prayer pose, our classes cater to every level. Join our basic to advanced classes.

Students working on their individual backbend practice, showing different levels of flexibility in the same class.
About Additional Studio Moments
We don't do mass classes where you get lost in the crowd. In these sessions, I personally watch your alignment on the wall ropes and blocks, ensuring you aren't just mimicking poses but actually building strength and flexibility safely. If you are here for a quick fitness fad, this is not the place; if you are here to learn and fix your body, you fit right in.
A Practice of Discipline
Yoga is not an exercise. It is an alignment of your inner world and your physical structure. In my New Ashok Nagar and Mayur Vihar studios, we strip away the Instagram-friendly versions of yoga and get back to the basics.
Why Props Matter
People often see wall ropes, chairs, and bricks and think they are a crutch. They are the opposite. Props allow us to hold poses longer and deeper, giving you the time to understand your muscles and skeletal alignment. Whether you are using a chair to support a backbend or ropes to traction your spine, these tools ensure you progress without injury.
What You Will Experience
- Precision: I provide hands-on adjustments. You will be corrected, not just watched.
- Depth: We move from basic forward folds to advanced inversions like Sirsasana (Headstand), but only when your body is ready.
- Consistency: My batches run Monday to Saturday. This is a commitment. If you can show up for yourself, I will show up for you.
Who Is This For?
My classes are mixed-level. You might be a beginner standing next to someone practicing for years. That is how it should be. You learn by seeing, doing, and focusing on your own journey, not by comparing yourself to others.
If you have chronic stiffness, back pain, or are tired of 'flow' classes that don't actually change your body, come here. We will work on the stiffness, we will build the core, and we will find that balance.
