Real Yoga Practice and Transformation Highlights
Real yoga is not just stretching. It is a commitment to yourself. Explore how we use disciplined practice and props to help you find alignment and strength.
This is where the real work happens. I provide hands-on adjustments to help you find your alignment and safely deepen your practice. It's not about forcing a pose, but understanding how your body can achieve it.
You don't need to be flexible to start. Here, we use props like chairs and yoga wheels to support the body in deep backbends. This method makes advanced postures accessible and safe for everyone, helping to build confidence and spinal mobility.
Age is just a number on the mat. This dedicated student is 46 and has been with me for two years. Her progress is a testament to the fact that with consistent effort, transformation is possible for anyone.
I guide students through advanced asanas like Eka Pada Rajakapotasana (One-Legged King Pigeon Pose). With props and precise adjustments, we work on opening the hips and improving spinal flexibility, turning challenging poses into achievable goals.
A glimpse into our group class. I walk the room to observe and offer individual corrections. The focus is always on correct form and mindful movement, ensuring everyone is practicing safely and effectively.
We use the yoga wall and ropes to build incredible core strength and body control. This is not just a workout; it's a way to train your body and mind to work together, creating stability from your center.
परिवर्तन मुश्किल है लेकिन परिवर्तन जरूरी है। (Change is difficult, but change is necessary). This is the core of our practice. We work to bring about real change, not just in the body, but in the mind and spirit.
The physical practice prepares us for the real journey inward. We end our sessions with practices like Om meditation to quiet the mind, reduce stress, and connect with our true selves.
About Featured
I do not just stand at the front and demonstrate poses. In every session, I am walking the floor to physically adjust your alignment using props like wall ropes, chairs, and wheels. This approach ensures your joints are protected and your spine is correctly engaged, regardless of whether you are a complete beginner or an experienced practitioner.
At Soul to Shiva Yoga Foundation, my classes in New Ashok Nagar and Mayur Vihar Phase 1 are designed for those who want real results. This is not a gym workout where you go to sweat and leave. As I often say, 'jalana padega apne aap ko' (you must burn through your own limits). The transformation you are looking for comes from consistency and discipline, not just motivation.
We focus heavily on Iyengar-inspired props. If you cannot reach your toes or your back feels stiff, we do not force the body. We use chairs, blocks, and wall-mounted steel bars to help you understand the pose correctly. This builds the structural strength necessary for more advanced asanas, like headstands or deep backbends, without the risk of injury.
My batches are intentionally kept small because I provide hands-on corrections. Whether you are dealing with PCOD, thyroid issues, chronic back pain, or simply want to improve your flexibility, I structure the drills to target these specific needs. On Saturdays, we shift focus from heavy asana practice to Pranayama and meditation to ensure that the work you do on the mat brings balance to your mind as well.

I am Yogi Sunil. I started Soul to Shiva because I was tired of seeing yoga treated like a quick fitness trend. Whether you join my morning or evening batch, expect to work hard, sweat, and face your limits.
