About Self-Defense Training
My Philosophy
For me, self-defense is way more than learning how to fight. It's about building real strength and confidence so you don’t have to get into fights in the first place. Discipline is everything - stay safe, stay strong.
Training Approach
No filmi stunts here. Everything I teach is practical. I start you from scratch, focusing on what works in real life.
- Karate-based self-defense techniques: You’ll learn how to block, counter, and get out of tough spots. We train hands-on with partners.
- Strength and conditioning for self-defense: We use tires, ladders, sprints. Expect sweat and sore muscles. You gotta be ziddi (stubborn) to push through.
- Controlled sparring training: Real pressure, real reactions. You learn to keep cool and handle your ground.
- Kata practice for discipline: Basics first, always. Traditional forms help you build balance, power, and muscle memory.
Who Can Join
I train kids, teens, adults - anyone who wants to learn. No experience needed. Just show up with the will to work hard.
Group Workshops
I also run self-defense workshops for schools, colleges, and corporates. These sessions focus on real-world self-protection skills, and can happen at your location.
What To Expect
Not gonna lie, this isn’t easy. No shortcuts. You’ll need mehnat (effort) and lagan (dedication). If you stick with it, you’ll get strong inside and out.

SM Lee Karate Academy
My Story
SM LEE Karate Dojo is my world, my family. I coach the Indian karate team, and my heart beats for my country. My academy is full of 'karate kids' and 'karate girls', some already champions. I always say, 'Safar mein mushkilein aaye, to himmat aur badhti hai' (When difficulties come, courage grows). Medals don’t just happen, they’re made with sweat, love, and stubbornness. We train together, win together. This is our journey.
