About Competitive Karate Coaching
What Drives Us
Medals don’t grow on trees. Medal ped pe nahi ugte, unhe banana padta hai... mehnat se, lagan se. (Medals aren’t found on trees, you have to earn them... with effort, with focus.) If someone’s hunting for shortcuts, this isn’t the place. I run a dojo where sweat and stubbornness go hand in hand. You’re not just here to learn karate moves - you’re signing up to fight for something bigger, maybe even the Indian flag.
The Journey to Compete
We’re all about building champions, not just teaching kicks and punches. My plan is simple: take you from district-level matches all the way up to international championships. The steps? Karate tournament preparation at every stage - school, state, national, and beyond. You’ll never be left alone on the mat. My team and I are right there, pushing you through every fight.
Training for Results
Every athlete here gets hit with hardcore conditioning. We use sprints, tire flips, and agility drills to toughen you up. Flexibility isn’t ignored - splits and core work are part of the grind. Kumite training drills are a big deal; we drill techniques till they stick, and spar hard so you can handle real bouts. Competitive sparring techniques, ring craft, and tactics are baked into every session.
Why Trust Us?
Our fighters have competed at the top. Kids like Manish Rana and Soniya Singh have made it to the Indian national karate team coaching and won medals that matter - from Independence Cup, KIO All India, and more. The journey’s tough. Ziddi bano. (Be stubborn.) If you’re ready to put in the work, I’m here to help you fight for every single win.

My Story
SM LEE Karate Dojo is my world, my family. I coach the Indian karate team, and my heart beats for my country. My academy is full of 'karate kids' and 'karate girls', some already champions. I always say, 'Safar mein mushkilein aaye, to himmat aur badhti hai' (When difficulties come, courage grows). Medals don’t just happen, they’re made with sweat, love, and stubbornness. We train together, win together. This is our journey.
