The journey of a material begins at its source. We visit quarries to select the perfect block of stone, looking for the right color, tone, and character. This raw, striated granite block is the first note in a complex architectural composition.

We prefer to resolve construction challenges in the studio and on-site rather than in a boardroom, ensuring every detail is fully vetted before the final build begins.

This might mean spending days in a location like Hampi to understand the local vernacular, or visiting stone quarries to pick the exact granite block that will define a facade.
