In Nagpur, we reimagined the traditional wada for a modern family. See how light, timber screens, and open courtyards create a sanctuary that connects generations.

The formal living room seamlessly extends onto a spacious wooden deck. This indoor-outdoor space is designed for entertaining guests or enjoying quiet family evenings, surrounded by views of the city.

We design spaces that reflect the user. This serene bedroom, with its custom pendant lights inspired by temple architecture, is a quiet sanctuary designed for the family's matriarch.

A central eight-foot-wide atrium anchors this home, acting as the lungs of the structure. We studied Nagpur's sun path meticulously to ensure this core draws in diffused, cool air while serving as a visual bridge between family floors, proving that traditional climate control is just as relevant today as it was centuries ago.

The conservatory, or sunroom, is rooted in a Wabi-Sabi aesthetic, embracing imperfection and natural elements. The space features a rustic coffee table from Nagaland and a striking horse sculpture from Jew Town, Kochi.33

This Calcutta living room was designed to hold a family's energy and memories. We kept the soul of their old bungalow by using warm woods, patterned heritage tiles, and pops of color like this red console. The goal was to create a space that feels generous and grounded, where stories can be passed down for generations.4
We wanted this living room to feel like it had always been there. The cane-back bench, louvered wooden shutters, and a mix of seating create a relaxed, layered atmosphere. The light filtering through the shutters casts a gentle glow, perfect for long afternoons spent with family.
Bathrooms are mood-lifters, and this one was designed to feel both timeless and playful. By combining bold, graphic tiles with soft pink and warm wood, we created a personal sanctuary within a larger family home. It shows how thoughtful detailing can transform even the most functional spaces into something special.
