Stop guessing with your form. My bootcamps are for anyone who wants to learn the fundamentals of Olympic lifting and powerlifting properly, without the gimmicks or influencer trends.

If you want to learn the fundamentals of powerlifting and Olympic lifting, my Barbell Basics bootcamp is the perfect place to start. This poster gives you all the details for our upcoming event, where we'll cover the deadlift, snatch, and clean, and help you build a solid foundation.

We like to end our bootcamps with a fun challenge, like this 300kg hip thrust max out. It's a great way to test your strength in a supportive group setting and celebrate the hard work you've put in. Join us to see what you're capable of.

I often host free demonstrations and tryouts for specialized equipment like the Anvil and Saxon bar. It's a great opportunity for you to get your hands on unique grip strength tools and see what they're all about. Keep an eye out for our next event at Barbell Therapy.

The energy at our training events is all about pushing each other to succeed. Here's a look at a typical day at a Barbell Therapy event, where lifters come together to train hard, hit new personal records, and support one another.

About Barbell Basics: Workshops & Bootcamps

I keep these bootcamps small—10 to 15 people max—because you cannot learn how to move a barbell properly in a crowded room. We focus entirely on biomechanics and form correction during the deadlift, squat, and Olympic lifts. You will not find high-rep cardio here, just honest, immediate feedback on your hip hinge, grip, and spinal alignment.

Learn the Mechanics, Not the Hype

Most gyms treat weightlifting as a backdrop for social media content. At Basebell, we treat it as a discipline. Whether you are a total beginner who has never touched a barbell or an experienced lifter struggling to break through a plateau, my workshops provide the technical breakdown you actually need.

What We Cover

Each bootcamp is a hands-on, single-day event. We spend 3 to 4 hours deconstructing movements. We don't just tell you to 'lift it'; we explain the 'why' behind the Snatch, Clean and Jerk, Squat, and Deadlift. You will learn:

  • Hip Hinge Mechanics: Fixing the most common deadlift faults.
  • Spinal Alignment: Keeping your back safe under heavy load.
  • Olympic Lifting Basics: How to safely initiate and catch the bar.

The Environment

We train at Basebell in Kalyan Nagar. It is not a posh, air-conditioned studio with mirrors everywhere. It is an industrial warehouse with legit powerlifting and Olympic bars. You will be sweating, you will be learning, and you will be lifting on real platforms. We finish every session with a fun challenge—like a max-out drill—so you can apply what you learned under pressure.

Who This Is For

  • The Complete Beginner: You are intimidated by the weight room and want to learn without getting hurt.
  • The Plateaued Lifter: You have been training but are stuck. I will help you debug your lifts.
  • The Athlete: Sprinters, jumpers, and field sport athletes who need explosive power.

If you are ready to stop guessing and start training, join us this Sunday.

I founded Basebell because I wanted a place to train like an athlete, not a gym-goer. I cut out the fluff and focus on raw performance—squats, deadlifts, and grip strength that actually transfers to real life.
