They flipped through pages and found Veeras, Tablas, and Tanpuras. Our 'Color and Learn with Little Bajo' book is designed to spark curiosity and introduce children to the world of Indian instruments.

Every stroke of the crayon leads to a name, a shape, a story. Our activity book is more than just coloring, it's a journey into India's rich musical past.

What is he reading so intently? A young Shrota completely absorbed in our 'Color & Learn with Little Bajo' book during a musical book tour event.

As the founder, it fills my heart to see the success of our first Musical Book Tour. It was a warm, beautiful event that brought children, parents, and musicians together.

About this collection

Our 'Color and Learn with Little Bajo' activity book is more than a coloring guide; I designed it to help children identify Indian instruments like the veena, tabla, and tanpura by their distinct shapes and names. When we host a Musical Book Tour, we bridge the gap between the page and the stage, giving your child the chance to hear these instruments played live by professional musicians, turning curiosity into a tangible musical connection.

Bringing Music Off the Page

Learning about Indian classical music can often feel abstract for children, but our Musical Book Tour changes that dynamic. We take our 'Color and Learn' resource to community spaces—from Earthlings Early Years to private venues across Bangalore—to create an interactive learning environment.

Why Our Approach Works

  • Multi-Sensory Learning: We move beyond static lessons. At our tour stops, children listen to live recitals, participate in rhythmic storytelling, and have supervised opportunities to touch instruments like the jaltarang or sitar.
  • Parent-Child Bonding: My goal is to make Shastriya Sangeet a shared language in your home. By involving parents in the storytelling process, we ensure that music becomes a medium for family bonding, not just a solo hobby for the child.
  • Educational Depth: We focus on swara (notes) and laya (rhythm) aptitude. Even at a young age, children possess a natural inclination for music, and our activities are structured to nurture that spark without the pressure of formal examinations.

Whether you are looking for a unique weekend workshop in Whitefield or a creative resource to introduce your toddler to the world of raga, our books and tours provide a gentle, joyful entry point into the rich heritage of Indian music. Come meet us at our next stop, explore the pages of Little Bajo, and become part of our growing Shrotagan family.
