Music starts with curiosity. My goal is to make every kid fall in love with rhythm, whether they’re just starting at 3 years old or looking to master their first song.

This is Zyra, one of our toddler students, happily singing the Indian classical sargam 'Sa Re Ga Ma Pa' while playing her keyboard. We find that even our youngest students show a great interest in Indian music, and we nurture that curiosity from their very first lesson.

One-on-one attention is key, especially for our youngest students. Here I am guiding our 4-year-old student Ved through his first 'Sa Re Ga Ma' practice on the piano. We focus on correct finger placement and singing each note to build a solid foundation in pitch and melody.

A typical music session in our kids' batch, where students learn together in a group setting. The instructor plays the piano while the children listen and prepare to sing, creating an interactive and supportive classroom atmosphere. This method helps children learn from each other and build confidence.

Here is 4-year-old Ved practicing 'Twinkle Twinkle Little Star' on his mini piano. We start with simple, recognizable songs to help kids gain confidence and find joy in playing an instrument, making practice feel like playtime.

Our group classes for toddlers often include action songs like 'Are You Sleeping?'. This not only teaches them melody and rhythm but also helps them engage physically and learn coordination, making the class a holistic developmental experience.

Watch as one of our youngest students practices her 'Sargam' scales on a mini keyboard with gentle guidance. We use a hands-on approach, helping children find the right keys and encouraging them to sing along to develop their vocal pitch.

A candid moment in our class with a new, curious student. We welcome children to observe and get comfortable with the musical environment, encouraging them to join in when they are ready. Here, a little one sings 'Sa Re Ga Ma Pa' for the first time.

We use simple, handwritten notes like 'A B C' to make learning music less intimidating for beginners. This student is practicing basic note patterns on a mini keyboard, a fundamental exercise for building finger dexterity and recognizing melodies.

This video shows how we break down a popular nursery rhyme, 'The Wheels on the Bus,' for a beginner piano student. We teach them to coordinate left and right-hand notes and sing along, demonstrating our step-by-step approach to learning songs.

We love celebrating our students' milestones. Here, we are teaching Takshavi how to play 'Happy Birthday' on the piano. Learning to play such a universally loved song is a fun and rewarding experience for our young musicians.

About Fun & Focus: Music for Kids (Ages 3+)

I keep my batches small, usually 4-8 students, so every child gets personal attention. We start with basics like Sargam n rhymes to spark their interest before moving on to instruments like the piano. No pressure, just pure fun n music.
